Andrea Simmonds

I am a child of the earth - feet in the soil, head in the stars. I grew up in Calgary, Alberta, and at 18 travelled to Europe for four months. I studied Liberal Arts, with a Honours in Studio Art, Minor in Philosophy where I visually translated written works of the avant guard. My greatest influence is Nature and my goal through at is to help remind people of her beauty and that we all have a lot of work to do together to reinstate the innate balance in our lives for our own well being and for the well being of the future generations, specifically our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and so on. After graduating in 2008, I have worked with food, farming, permaculture, natural medicine, and holistic health, while also staying very connected to my passion as an artist. Now I am learning traditional painting with natural pigments and materials with the intention of teaching different ways of creative expression.

Art for the greatest good of all man kind, raising us up to a higher quality of life by reconnecting to Nature! Spreading seed of Love, Compassion, Joy and Empowerment! Come together! We are Alive!!!!! What a gift!!
